Women need women. The Apostle Paul
must have understood this because he told Titus to be sure that older
women in the church were equipped to teach younger women certain
aspects of covenantal life. The women's ministry at Grace provides
such an opportunity as women build relationships with one another and
are equipped and energized to minister in all aspects of the life of
the church.
First, through a bi-weekly Bible
Study, the women meet to study God's Word, share needs and support
each other in prayer. The practical training in this nurturing
environment provide an ideal foundation for personal growth and
community ministry.
The women's ministry at Grace is
characterized by women who put their faith in action. This is
demonstrated as the women joyfully serve God in their homes and jobs,
faithfully pray, undertake ministries of mercy to those in need, teach
and nurture the young people in the church and community, and
coordinate many of the ministries of the church.
The goal is that each woman will
"know Christ personally and be committed to extending His kingdom
in her life, home, church, community, and throughout the world"
and thus God will be glorified.
