A
Reason for God, by Tim Keller
In this work, Keller uses literature, philosophy, real-life
conversations and reasoning, and even pop culture to explain how faith
in a Christian God is a soundly rational belief, held by thoughtful
people of intellectual integrity.

centuries?truths that offer a ground for faith in uncertain
times, hope and joy for those who despair, and
reconciliation for a world at war with God and itself.

By
Paul Tripp. We all face things in midlife that beat at the
borders of your faith, but you do not have to be lost in the
middle of your story. Although this book is directed at
those who are facing the issues of midlife, it has a much
broader net than that. Lost in the Middle can help all who
are confronted with life in this broken world and have lost
their way. The God who seems so distant to you in this
moment is actually near and active. Lost in the Middle is
written to give you eyes to see him, to see yourself more
clearly, and to find the real hope that you need to carry
on.

While
the church at large seems to be awakening to its role to
make disciples, more needs to be done to disciple Christians
to see their role in the Kingdom of Christ. It's a
challenge to Christians to see discipleship as "total"
transformation of heart and mind rather than a do list of
activities.

Charles highly recommends reading
Total
Truth. In this book, Nancy Pearcey makes a passionate
case that Christianity is not just religious truth, but truth about
all reality. It is total truth.
